The comic, who also presented ITV's religious music show Highway, had a run of ill health over the past few years. His daughter, Jenny Secombe, said he died at 3pm and said the family were shattered. Sir Harry was a natural clown and one of Britain's best-loved entertainers. He had a genius for slapstick and buffoonery and was a founder of one of Britain's most revered comedy shows, The Goon Show.
